The Garden
Our Harvest
When the harvest allows, we used produce from the garden in meals that we served to guests. As with any garden, the harvest was not consistent, so when we could not provide fresh produce from our own garden, we sourced from local distributors.
Although our garden harvest was always small, any extras were sold to guests at the inn or brought to Farmers Markets in both Tucson and Phoenix.
Our garden is currently under construction but will return soon!
Our previous garden was more than 10,000 square feet. The winter garden, active October through April, featured root vegetables and greens, such as artichokes, broccoli, carrots, spinach, arugula, onions, and Bok choy. The summer garden, active May through September, produced items such as beans, peas, peppers, tomatoes, squash, melons, and flowers.
