Swimming Pool
Nothing beats the feeling of a dip in cool water on a warm day! Now add a few citrus trees overhead, a couple water fountains, and some pool floaties and you’ve got yourself one awesome place for happy hour (any time of the day!)
Ramada
Our open air ramada is the center of activity in arguably one of the most beautiful spots on the property. With the eucalyptus trees towering above, combined with the butterfly garden below, the ramada is the perfect viewing spot for birds. It’s a fabulous space for shared meals and group gatherings of all kinds. It is equipped with fans in the summer and heaters in the winter so it is comfortable year round.
Butterfly Garden
Nestled between the ramada and the lawn of the Farmhouse, the butterfly garden is almost always humming with pollinators. With the butterflies, bees and hummingbirds all around, you’ll never be truly alone here yet you’ll feel the tranquility immediately. Sit on a shaded bench and enjoy the sound of the fountain, while gazing up at the largest eucalyptus trees in Southern Arizona.
Yard Games & Board Games
Go back to the basics with the games we all grew up on and love. Turn off your electronics (they won’t work here anyway) and enjoy a round or three of horseshoe, corn hole, badminton, basketball, frisbee and others.
Visit our “Games and Books” closet next to the Treehouse Casita for various board games, card decks and books that you’re welcome to borrow during your stay.
Meadows & Lawns
Explore the three large grassy lawns throughout the property. They are perfect for both individuals and groups to gather, relax, play games or generally appreciate the greenery around them. The Farmhouse Lawn is the most central, the Apricot Meadow is the largest and has three different swings (for children and adults alike) hanging under large pecan trees, and the Pear Meadow is the most shaded and secluded at the end of the orchard. All three are extremely picturesque with incredible views.
