Lemon Bars

Grandma Turner’s Lemon Bars

These lemon bars are an Aravaipa Farms staple. Made with our Meyer lemons, they are just: chef kisses.

Ingredients

Crust

  • ½ lb butter

  • 2 cups flour

  • ½ cups powdered sugar

Filling

  • 4 eggs, beaten

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 6-7 tbsp Meyer lemon juice

  • 4 tbsp flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • Extra powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Crust

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Cut butter into small slices.

  3. Mix crust ingredients together until a dough is formed.

  4. Shape into a crust in the bottom of a 12”x9” pan.

  5. Bake for 20 minutes.

Filling

  1. Mix filling ingredients together until combined and lumps are removed.

  2. Pour over baked crust and bake for 25 minutes.

  3. Dust with powdered sugar after taking it out of the oven.

  4. Cut and serve.
