“Wow, the new owners have really outdone themselves. What a difference a year makes. Newley remodeled quaint rooms and gathering areas with eclectic art every where. You’ll discover things you haven’t seen over and over again. Well appointed rooms with Coffee, lovely full size soaps, shampoo, conditioner, room spray and even a first aid kit. Our room smelled like fresh peppermint when we arrived and there were fresh flowers from the garden to welcome us. We had happy hour by the pool with a bottle of wine and conversation with other guests followed by dinner that was creative and delicious. Many of the items served were from the orchard and garden. I bought the Meyer lemon preserves. I’d had them stuffed in a chicken before and loved it.. Charming sitting area outside our Casita with a fountain and a wonderful bird show of hawks, buzzards and humming birds. We enjoyed our morning coffee and a show! Be sure to get your passes early for hiking the gorgeous canyon. There are only 30 people a day allowed in and you don’t want to miss it.”
Fest for the eyes!
“We were able to attend the Farms re-opening after the new owners have renovated and upgraded the property. Only a little over an hour drive from Tucson in rural central Arizona. Very peaceful resort off the grid. The rooms are extremely quaint with comfortable beds, private bath, A/C, nice showers, fireplaces, and unique sitting areas. Each room is unique and filled objects d’ art that are a treat for the eyes. Great grounds to stroll around plus if you get a BLM pass, you can hike up to an incredible canyon with big horn sheep, coati, bobcats and almost every bird in No. America. Quite incredible to hike the creek between beautiful red sandstone cliffs. Gracious hosts with eclectic, interesting meals: Meals made from farm produce and farm orchards. They sell orange marmalades and lemon preserves made on the farm. Ask the hosts to help arrange canyon passes. Weekdays are the best bet since only 30 people are allowed into the canyon each day. Definitely a destination trip with comfort, good food, and good company.”
Nature Lovers Sanctuary in Top Notch Comfort
“Once you stay at Aravaipa Farms Orchard and Inn you will want to get home to check your calendar to see when you might be able to schedule your next visit! The magnificent scenery of the canyons along with the lush green of the riparian environment provide an over-the-top outdoor setting! You can sit on your own private patio and enjoy the view for miles, or retreat inside to your wonderfully comfortable and well appointed casita. The hiking opportunities right out your door are abundant and even just a relaxed stroll around the property has something for everyone from the artist, photographer to the farmer, birder or nature-lover. We were intrigued and inspired by the attention to detail that the new changes of this property have brought without sacrificing the love and longevity of years past. It would be hard to choose one highlight of our stay, but the farm to table dinner in the communal dining room was so memorable. The meal was “foodie” worthy, the dinner guests were friendly and interesting and the lively conversation over good wine was a delight! We would highly recommend Aravaipa Farms and will definitely be back in the future!”
